Another great silvery winters day

Well I decided to go back out today since it was going to be 35. Went to another one of my spots where digging is still possible with minimal frost so not too much hatcheting to get below the frost.
Was out for about 15 minutes when I dug the Merc @ about 9 inches. Found the 23 Wheat at about 6 inches an hour later. Nothing after that except the mini balls and a 4 leaf clover. I guess you could say today was my lucky day.
Seriously though, I have been reading and re-reading all the info from Charles and have been paying attention more to the sounds I hear. The Merc did sound off pretty good and wasn't too hard to tell it was silver. However when I got it home and rinsed it off I noticed some staining on it that may have been caused from iron rust. You can't see it in the photo because my camera's for crap but when I look at it here that's what it looks like to me.
