Another Hunt at the the Canadian LC site in TTF, nothing good but learned a bit...

I hunted at that same circa 1900 house in TTF, open screen with only 1-1 to 1-30 discrimed again using the SEF 6x8 coil, I hunted the whole front and side yards as slow as I could yesterday in the cold(32 chilly degrees) for about 2 hours, I found a couple of 50's nickels, an aluminum presidential token, some deeper mems, 1 lone 1917 wheatie and a clad quarter, 1 zincoln, and a newer dime...whoopie! But I did learn to slow down in the nail carpet areas and listen for high tone peeps, check for a repeatable high tone peeps, and look for a good conductive number to show up a good part of the time, usually it was a partially masked coin, I do have a NEL sharpshooter coil which is pretty slick and may have done even better-I have been over this yard a couple of years ago with a good CZ-70 Pro and an Explorer II along with a quick pass with the E-Trac before so I really think it pays to slow down, use a few different coils, change hunting directions and the like but no ground is ever hunted out unless it's all dug to clay and sifted :)
