I know these finds are nothing special in themselves but it is where they were found that I find impressive.
I just did a quick run to a local tot lot we have hunted for the last 10 years with every imaginable detector. All these coins were loud and clear and the VDI was on the money, and, they were all below the wood chips in the dirt and all within a 5' circle. I hit quite a few more but didn't recover them. I'm waiting to see if my hunting buddy will hit them and so he can watch me recover them. Any one of these could have been jewelry. Unfortunately, this time they were not. I guess I'm just really impressed at these recoveries being in the center of the open play area where we have looked so many times before.
For those interested in my settings I use in tot lots. 9" coil
