Another Merc and a Buff

Went back to the lot where i found the Merc and War Nickle and found another Merc along with a wheat and 35 other coins. The owner of the house next door was outside and said i could also detect his yard. Went over there as i was going to call it quits on the other lot for the day just to kinda see if i would get any hits and found a clad dime, 2 pennies and a Buff in about 10 minutes. I'am sure you know i'll be going back there again. Simplex+ does it again. HH Jim

That Buffalo still has the date on it too.. I believe the last year they were minted.

Your permissions are snow balling, it pays to do a neat job recovering targets, people are always watching!

Right now I’m finding maybe $2 in clad per outing. So far one silver (62 Rosie) which I didnt even know it was silver until I got home. Virtually every silver around here come out silver but this was tarnished a bit blackish as was the clad that day. Nice recoveries!!!

Nice finds. What kind of depth are you getting with that Simplex? Have you hit on any really deep targets?

My deepest coin, which was a Merc, was right at 8 inches with the SP 24 coil. Almost all the coins i find are between 3-6 inches. I have found some trash targets at 10-12 inches. HH Jim
