Another metal detector added but the Safari is still #1!!

FYI .......I recently added this Whites Goldmaster II to my metal detector collection! I'm always scanning the Craigslist add's for metal detector's for sale and as soon as I saw this one listed for only $40, I called the guy up and bought it as fast as I could!! It was missing the battery holder which I bought at a local Radio Shack for less than $3 and installed 8AA's and it powered up no probs!!!! It is a dedicated gold nugget detector so I'll be going up into the mountains soon and seeing what I can detect!! This is not a turn on and go detector as you can see and it will take some time to figure out the controls and how to run it correctly.
FYI.......My Safari is still my #1 detector!!!

Nice find there, GS. Should be plenty of online resources/forums to aid in your mastering of the GM II....You've posted enough gold finds with Safari to help in air testing them with the GM II. Good Luck.
