I heard this morning from a union official my Co.is very seriously considering putting us on 4-10hr.days,instead of 5-8hr.days...will save the Co.$$$'s in reduced energy usage(no machines running on the 5th day);and all the workers will save $$$'s on reduced GAS usage to get to work-figures out to a 20%reduction in electricity and gas usage...BEST PART???Im on 3rd shift;I would probably be on 9pm-7am for 4 days,as opposed to 11pm-7am now...THAT MEANS:::I would start my work week Sunday nite at 9:00PM;the work week would end for me 7:00A.M.Thursday morning-work 2 extra hours a day for 4 days;for an almost FOUR DAY WEEKEND????Sign me up,baby!!!

Pretty good schedule. I think a lot of companies are looking at 4 - 10 hour days if possible for savings and it saves the employees that one drive a week....adds up at the end of the year.
