Another short hunt. The ground is freezing and it started snowing.

That was enough to drive this old fart inside.
But before I was driven in I hit these few items.
First is another wheel thingy with Abraham Lincoln and 1860 on it.

Next is an Indian head with what looks to be a cracked die.

Finally is the reason I don't get excited over Nickel signals.

The Lincoln coin you found is a campaign token from 1860. It was made when he was running for president. In the center was a lithograph picture of him without a beard. On the back was a picture of his running mate Hannibal Hamlin. There were two different styles of that brass token made. The wreath that is on the face of it is the difference in them. One with the pictures still in it will sell for an easy 1000. I found one here in Burlington, WI this year. It is in the local museum now. It was like having a Nixon button for its time. If you look at the hole punched in the top of it, does it look stressed from being punched. Those look they were hand done. It was there so you could hang it on a string around your neck or where ever.

Thats a keeper!

Very nice Bob......:) Sounds like the weather is slowing down your chances to get out, but better weather is just around the corner. HH.
