Another silver chain with the Compadre...

Took the Compadre out for literally 2 minutes at a park yesterday and had a solid tone on this chain which disced out a hair above the n in iron.
Super solid beep...just like a coin.
No clasps with any marks, but I am sure it is silver.
Today and tomorrow we are having our annual seeded hunts my MD club...my first.
I am using the Compadre and I think I will do pretty good.
Hope to, anyway.
 
My first detector was a Compadre. I found chains all the time with it. Since I stopped using the Compadre, I haven't found a single chain.:sad:

REVIER.........Nice find ! Guess I better get off the "F" in Foil setting I have been using and drop down to "Iron" ! ;)

I would.
I can't begin to tell you how many gold and silver chains and smaller gold rings that came in below that "F" that I have found.
I usually hunt in all metal to get the deepest and the clearest sound, then thumb that knob up and dig most everything from the "i" on up.
