Another two piece button, nice copper on front and what looks like a single shank iron back. For some reasons the silver nickels seem to corrode in my area. That might be why the VDI's tend to bounce. I might add, the copper rivet beside the nickel was 7" deep.
 
ya done good on that hunt -minerals in ground cause the corrosion-here most nickels found in the dirt will be reddish rusty color from all the iron ore
