Another Simplex update v2.77

I only updated to 2.76, I just don’t think I will need the mute button or the headphone volume. Anybody else do the same?

Since you asked, I only did the 2.76 as well. The 2.77 came out just quickly after I had my son update my Simplex +. I have an old computer with Windows 7 and had difficulty trying to do the update. In the future I might have him go to the 2.77, but right now I don't see a need for it. I mainly use the Pulse-Dive Pinpointer and have no issues with my Simplex +. I'm quite pleased, by the way, with the updated features.

I think the mute function is a great addition. I pinpoint; hit mute; recover the target without any interference between the machine and the pinpointer; hit unmute and on to the next. Very helpful.

Helpful? Yes. Necessary? Not especially,. I don't have any EMI issues with my Simplex + and Makro Pointer or the Pulse-Dive Pinpointer, therefore, it doesn't do me any favors as of my current set-up.

Thanks, I went ahead and updated to 2.77 And I do find it useful now.
