Another spot revisited with lower Sensitivity

Tried another old spot today that we have hit with about every major top detector including the XS. I know I have did everything including actual griding of this area. There still there but are showing up now with lower sensitivity, went down to a straight 17 today and got the following. 189? V-Nickel, 46, 46-s and a 51-D wheat cents along with a 1949 Uncle Sam Play 10 cent coin and and old metal 4 hole button along with the usual top chunk change. When you live in an area of retirees every little edge helps unless you drive for 100 miles. With the price of gas I'll take the edge as I have the time. Thanks for looking

At least you got some more keepers for the year. I myself use pattern formations and I urge you to try them too. It might take awhile to find what your after, but sometimes the keepers are grouped together and you might just be walking right by more goodies than you realize without using a pattern. Just trying to help you get the treasure before someone else does. Happy Hunting!:detecting:

Thanks James, actually when I find a keeper I start a slow circle out to about 15 feet or so and then keep a mental eye on my original location and continue on. I had a friend several years ago who actually took a picture and measurements of each keeper and logged it into a map of the area. I'm not that dedicated but do like to find keepers.

I've dug a few and get all stoked because I think it's a Silver 3c or a Half Dime. Ticks me off royal when I dig one.

Nice Digs!!!!!

I have to tell you in all honesty when I saw the glint of silver color in the hole and small size I thought I had something, Oh Well Next Time. Thanks for looking
