It all came down within 1/2 mile of my old house.
I have not been able to get much 1st hand info so far but, DW I thank you for filling in a couple gaps in what I was able to learn and am really pissed off.
1st shot just grazed his head and after that it's been an almost black out of info.
I'll be heading down in the morning to do a bit of "detecting"..... don't worry about me...I have knowledge of people in low places, know the backwoods well and am always prepared for war.
WALK SILENT, LISTEN WELL AND ONLY SHOOT IF YOU MEAN TO KILL.....
(info so far says, small time tweeker/transient but no traceable local family name)

LEOs have been taking a beating over on the west side. Yes the bad guys should be put down in short order. Return to public hangings?

Any time I read newstories such as this, I don't care where it happens in the world, but my blood boils to hear it. Police are really the only people that enable us to walk the streets reasonably safe, or exist in a reasonably safe environment. Hell, they even protect the bad guys so that they can engage safely in Criminal Acts~!
The job that they perform, is generally thankless or if not thankless, very rare that they get aknowledaged for the good deeds and for enforcing the laws of the land. My hat is off to all those across the world that have chosen this as a career.
