We hit several sites over the weekend, the first site produced the political fob and the burned up Indian and the whisky token. The second site produced the Barb and a couple of wheat's. The third site was old and I found the 1890 V nick but then I got a solid hit I thought was a Morgan, I would have gave up after a foot of digging but the X-1 told me to keep at it. It ended up being about 2 feet down and It was the very cool copper shoe sign. I had an hour or two to kill yesterday so I went to a house here in town not expecting to find much but ended up with several wheat's and this fantastic Standing. Thanks for looking.

What an awesome Standing Liberty quarter. The detail don't get much better than that! Congrats of the finds. What are the dimensions of that sign? HH Randy

Wow, that SLQ is just in awesome shape!! I just stared at it for over a minute!! :yikes:

Incredible silvers! They all look great, especially the SLQ. Congratulations! The token and fob are really interesting. A most excellent weekend! Thanks for posting.

Those are some great finds and an absolutely astonishing SLQ. How come you didn't scratch your 1918, like TreasureFiend did??

Thanks for sharing the pictures and the story with us too. Thanks for digging 2 feet to get us a picture of your cool copper sign!!

Nice SLQ buddy:thumbup:

Fantastic Std. Liberty Qtr....................one of the all-time favorite coin designs............nice digs all-around!!! Hawkeye Jim.

That SLQ is pretty much my dream find. I've found a slick before but never one looking like that. Seems I can find tons of dimes from that period but the parks I hunt have very few large silver remaining. Oh well. Huge congrats on a beautiful coin!

Congratulation. Super great and rare find. I have found dozens of Standing Lib's over the last 30 years but have found only 3 that would even come close to yours.

Beautiful coin! One question... What does the letter "M" stamped on the bottom right of the coin indicate?
