Another stormy night ahead.....

Hope everyone stays safe tonight. Looks particularly bad in KY, MO, TN and AL. This stuff is getting old.....we are breaking every flood record in sight around here.

here in the St Louis MO area and all over Southern MO....Poplar Bluff, MO is really flooded from the BLACK RIVER overflowing and many have had to evacuate their homes and land! Stormed and rained all last night and has rained all day today with very little let-up! Very dreary day with gray skies! Was going to go for foods and meds today, finally, as I haven't been since Feb 22 but too rainy and stormy looking...should have gone yesterday when it was sunny all afternoon..but slow Ma just doesn't get things done as she should.....but oh well, grandma is slow but she is old! Talked to my next-door neighbor, Glenn, yesterday, and his sister who lives in Marilyn Heights, MO (North County where the tornadoes hit) is still without electricity! Bridgeton got the worst but parts of Marilyn H. was damaged along with Lambert Airport, too!

We are all tired of this rainy, wet, flooding weather and look forward to brighter, dryer and sunny days but not too hot and humid! May God Bless and keep ya'll and others safe! Amen! Ma Betty

The weather was nasty throughout Michigan yesterday afternoon, as well. There's a run-off area just outside the parking lot of my complex that is nearly filled with water to the brim and it's over 5' deep! That's a lot of rain folks. Thank God for sunny skies today.

In 1993, we had floods all over the place and over many rooftops! The MS River washed homes away in IL and may do it again this year, as the rain has been more than plenty to do it! Ma Betty

Flooding here too. 10" or rain since March 1st.

Praying for you all to be safe.

Thanks, Rick. We have been VERY, VERY blessed. Several confirmed tornadoes around us, but we have only had flooding issues. A huge amount of water in our crawlspace, bubbling septic lines and a yard almost compeltely under water. Not been pleasant, but we'll take it. Could have been much worse! How has y'alls weather been in Iowa?
