Another trip to the indian patch...

Spent a long day at the Indian patch and by golly there were still some hiding in the ground. Also came home with an old Canadian dime and 3 V nickels.
One nickel is an 1888 which is a good date but it's worn and corroded. What made the day more enjoyable was that the coins were spaced evenly throughout the day. Usually I find lots at the beginning then it really slows down. Maybe I just kept up my concentration better yesterday.

What's the year on the Canadian Dime??? Congrats on the 1888 V-Nickel! That is a better date and glad to hear you had a nice day out detecting with the finds evenly spaced to keep you going during your outing. Congrats on all them great Old Finds. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you.

The injuns are impressive Neal....but the nickels are amazing.

I've been tryin' and tryin' for old nickels...but the only thing old I'm gettin' are little pieces of aluminum at about 8"

Neal great finds. I would love to dig a V nickel. I hadn't found one in years!

Congratulations on that 1888 Neal from IN.
I dug a shield nickel the other day or at least I think it is through the corrosion.
I have been doing good on nickels so far this year but nowhere near how you are doing.
