answer to head phone cords..they suck

will they work on my x-70 how do you use them do they plug into my detector any where or do i just put them on and adjust my detector i really dont understand how they work if not connected to my dector do not mean to sound so stupid just want to know how to use them how much do they cost thank u for any info

They won't work. You have to have a transmitter (like a cell phone). Get the Radio Shack one's. I've been using them for over a year. They come with headphone, transmitter (called a dongle) and recharge cord. You'll need a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter. Costs a couple bucks. Be sure and get one for stereo, NOT mono.
 
YES I must say the radio shack Hphones are well worth the money.. cheap enough to replace if you have a problem.
 
I tried two Bluetooth phones and both had a lag in the signal response. (Motorola and Creative brands) I'm not saying there isn't any BT units that work. I just haven't found them. So far the 33-1253 RS phones were the best I tried. But my connector and batteries went South after a year. Plus they were a little uncomfortable on my ears since I wear glasses. But nonetheless a good set.
 
Oh yeah.... if you get the RS wireless headphones, I'd recommend getting the extended warranty. It costs a couple bucks, as I recall but it will guarantee them for a year. Worth it.
