The time on my PC is correct but I have been getting e-mails with the wrong time stamped on them.(about 5 hours off) E-mails from these forums and from people that live just a few miles from me.(not from a different time zone)

I'm not too bad with computers really. But I can't figure this one out, it makes no sense to me how this can be.I use yahoo for mail. Could it be something in there settings. Any ideas on this??

Thank You, that was it.
I had looked long ago to make sure I put the right zip code in when I signed up for yahoo, and I did. But I did not know there was a way to set it. They had me for pacific time??? Im eastern. I changed it,,, should be ok now.

Thank you much.

The time stamps on your emails come from the mail servers themselves your computer has nothing to do with it. Sounds like your email server from your ISP has something going on with their machine. Its not really a big deal, as long as you are getting your mail I wouldn't worry about it.

OH one more thing since yahoo gets so much mail it really does take a long time for them to process mail sometimes, it should clear its self up after a bit, sorry I didn't notice that you used yahoo mail until after i posted. Once i sent a mail and it took a day before yahoo processed it and be then it was to late for what i was doing. go figure snail mail would have been better than email what ever happened to "NOW" on the computer where did those days go.
