Havent posted in several years. Glad to be back. Found this enameled pin at an old site. Any body know what era? I believe it is Methodist. What is the QE for? thanks CO

WHMS stands for Women's Home Missions Society in the Methodist church. The YWHMS seems to be an auxiliary to the WHMS. Looks like the "Y" stands for "Young". I found the "Woman's Home Missions of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Volume 26, Issue 1" online. This is a report from January 1909. The report refers to locations with the initials Q.E.C associated with the locations. Further reading of the report suggests that Q.E.C stands for Queen Esther Circle (page 9, lower left column). A Circle would be equivalent to a Chapter of an organization. Hope this helps. Nice find! I love finding stuff like this.
