found this yesterday.
on the obverse it says''good for 5C 1 trade''
and on the reverse is the #'s 31554
if any of you folks could help me out it would be appreciated.
btw it was found in a corn field in NH.

The token is a pinball machine token. In the old days when you won a free game the machine spit out one of these so you could play again but not take your nickle and run.

I just found one this last weekend #49125.
What is it?
 
I saw a whole show on the invention of the pinball machine and they used to issue tokens like that very early in the 1900's or so. Cool find....knew I had seen one but could not remember what it was.
