Any ideas what this is ??

[attachment 173028 Sample_6.jpg][attachment 173029 Sample_7.jpg]Finally got out to hunt alittle this last week. Knee surgery can really slow you down for awhile. Anyway, I went back to this 1850's home sight that I found the LC about a month or so ago. I found this and a few other things . But I don't know what this might be. It has an eagle on it as you can see. It's fairly heavy for its size. It looks like there might have been some kind of clip of some kind on the back. It's about 2.5 inches in diameter. Someone told me it could possibly be a grave marker. But there isn't any graves around so I doubt that. Not sure tho. I would appreciate any thoughts on this. I'll post some more pics of the other finds soon Thanks for looking!!

Hi, great find. The reason it's heavy is that the back is filled with lead.
