I haven't a clue as to what these are. They're lead, 1/2" round and 1/2" long. They made a great signal on my machine. Any ideas?

Since their so uniform ..maybe counter weights ?? Could they possibly be lead pellets for melting down and making fishing weights ???

I haven't a clue. That's a possibility of them being used for fishing weights. They are all the same. I'm sure I left a few in the ground too.
 
Maybe they are weights for those circular fishing nets you see ppl tossing in the water near the shore line??
Just a thought....i dunno for sure...
 
But there is nothing to attach them to anything. Very strange. :shrug:

They look somewhat crudely made so maybe this, ↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑↑
 
I tend to agree with Elton's idea about the "melting down" process...they also could have been intended for field casting rifle or pistol shot? People years ago probably salvaged lead from anything and everything for future use.
