i found this while out surveying a location for kimberlite. It appears to be Garnet and Sapphires from what i can tell, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

New here, but if I were to guess I'd go with garnet in a quartz matrix. I find similar pieces along the shore of Lake Erie that get the 'frosted' look from getting beat up and bruised from the waters action.
