Any news on the new F75LTD 5"x10DD coil ?

Larry at NWI Detectors hooked me up.

Great to work with.

Now if I can get a good deal on a couple of the 26.5" lower rods.

Let us know how it does , I am thinking of getting one. I just don't want to get one and be any less the the NEL 5.5x9.5 . Thanks,GS

Being I don't have a sharpshooter to compare it to, all I can do is match it against the stock 10x6 concentric.

In which case, the the 5x10 DD does pretty well so far. It handles the ugly GB of my ground at the house, as well as the EMI. EMI still shows itself, but the 5x10 DD seems to "buffer" the effects. If you have learned to recognize the falsing from the stock coil, the DD seems to dull the falsing tone. It's like the F70 is saying "that's not it". And in a foil pill wrapper vs nickel test, the new DD could see the coin within a couple inches of the foil. And with some careful coil manipulation, skip over the foil and see the nickle.

I feel the "blade-like" pattern is probably comparable to the 11". And the coil matches up to the F70 / F75 quirks. It does transform the F70 without making it too different. It's like driving a good road car, then driving the same car with a tuned suspension and performance tires.
Still familiar, but more nimble.

More tests needed and a few trips to familiar hunting grounds.
