Not sure where you got that price but incorrect . . . . . considerably
It will be released when V4.0 and the new coils are available and they have inventory to support the expected demand for all as they learned from the 11" coil release. If you think the US is a large piece of their market, think again. There are individual dealers across the pond that sell more than what is sold here in the US. XP intends on serving the demand with a quality product as they have done and the upcoming releases in 2016 will be a testament to that . . . . having seen some of what is coming, it will change things at that end of the market in a positive way.

The non-XP site says "The new XP pinpointer will presumably cost 299 EUR. It will go on sale in the spring of 2016" with the key word being presumably . . . . stay tuned for pricing and availability as sooin as teh factory is ready to release it
