I was just curious.....to be honest I haven't found anything worth any significant money....no gold.....just lots of neat old relics like 1940s stuff old military buttons etc. I have these items nicely put in glass casings and have layed out in the living room shelf. Yeah I have a great wife ! But I've always thot if some jerk broke in they wud think those things were valuable and steal my relics....they aren't worth anything significantly but to me theyy do cuz I enjoy the hobby etc and have worked hard to find these things. I once had them hid but now keep them out.....shud I just keep the stuff out or is hiding these things silly ?

I would leave them out. You've earned the right to display them with all the hard work digging those targets. If I found something extremely valuable, I might put it in a safe place. You and your wife control who visits your home and as long as they are good people like yourselves, I wouldn't worry.

I made a display board on my wall for some of my finds that aren't worth much dollar wise, but mean a lot to me. I'm not too worried about someone taking them.

If they bring you happiness and joy to look at, keep them on display.

Do like i did, i have a nice 357 watch dog, and when i am not home, my finds are watched by others with the same dogs. Put them out and enjoy.

Lol....yeah I have a little jack russell. We don't live in the best neighborhood. I agree with u all...thanks....to bad tho this crap goes on with robberies etc.

I still display my finds in my home so my wife and I, as well as visitors can enjoy them. I do this even though I had an extensive Civil War collection stolen in the mid 1990's, I just take more precautions now, double keyed dead bolts on all exterior doors, security locks on all windows and a monitored alarm system. To me part of the enjoyment of this hobby (addiction) is displaying my finds and when looking at them being able to remember and relive the finding of each.
