Hi! has there been any manufacture software upgrades on the xterra-705 since its launched? i did read once that the 705s with the holograms worked differently/better than the earlier models but of course this could be a rumour.

Not really any performance upgrades.
There was a firmware change, but that was only to help prevent the use of unauthorized coils.

Thanks, ive got another detector and it developed a fault on the lcd screen i sent it back to the manufacturer for repair it was done free, i think it was a common problem. They sent it back to me with a letter saying they also upgraded the software on it. There was no public announcement made of any upgrades on this detector so they must of just put the upgrade into there identical model to the one i have being manufactured at a later date. It wasnt so much as this as why i asked the question, i read a old post saying the later models seemed slighly better.
