With my Sony Mavica camera when the sun is just right (wrong) I cannot see the picture that I am trying to take due to brightness. Is there any way to overcome this - other than dont shoot in the light ? thanks, steve in so az
 
I don't have a monitor/screen on my camera but others might benefit from your solution. How did you fix it?
 
Don't use the monitor and just just shoot through the view finder if the camera allows that.
