I just watched noon news,and they ran the same ads AT LEAST 10-15 TIMES in an hour-the one about the "sleeping judge";followed IMMEDIATELY by the supposed sleeping judge saying its a lie,'dont vote for her,vote for me";;;;etc,etc,yada,yada,blah,blah,blah......:wacko:then they wonder why we dont want anything to do with politicians...GOOD NEWS IS ONLY ONE MORE DAY TO THIS :puke:-INDUCING STUFF STOPS:clapping::thumbup:....Then,we get treated to all the RE-CALL CAMPAIGNS that are certain to begin in the next 6-12 months:wacko::shrug:......
 
I am sick of Obama ads as they seem to be on every channel and played over and over! He says at the end, I approve of this ad and I always say, I don't! :biggrin: I don't like lies and half-truths and someone who thinks he is God and will be able to do anything for changes! He will change the USA into a third world country and fast.....so there will be changes but not for the better, if he manages to slip in with his beguiling, forked tongue! Please have mercy Lord and spare us by not having enemies elected to our gov't offices! Amen! :angel:

I'm Canadian - and I can't believe how much you have to put up with.
When an election is called here, it is for 6 weeks later, and thats all the time we have to watch election ads.
It seems like your election stuff starts two years before the election, and keeps going and going like the energizer bunny.
And none of it is to do with the issues - there seems to be a lot of "you should hate soandso" ads.
 
You're right. Peggy, and lies are told if they can't dig deep enough to find anything bad, so they make up things until a person doesn't know what is true or not true! Some bad apples are in office on the Republican side too and I don't want to vote for them! With all the political literature I get in the mail and telepone calls saying, vote for me because I'm not like that other person and then they tell bad stuff about that person! But I know the Republican party is more righteous in their thinking and being conservative, so my vote would be mostly for them unless I know for sure if they've done anything really ungodly and evil! Killing babies and okaying homosexual marriages is ungodly! We need to protect the USA from terrorists and Obama has been too close to them as far a I'm concerned! Six weeks sounds wonderful compared to what we here in the states have to endure! :sad:

Our Under Sheriff with over 30 years of police work is running for Sheriff. He is a Christian. His opponet has no police background other than 3 arrests - 2 for drunk driving and 1 for breaking and entry. His opponent went on a smear campaign last night putting flyers of lies and filth in out newspaper boxes. Even out local paper that has never taken a position before for a polical candidate has said the only qualified one to be Sheriff is our Brother in Christ. I pray the 'accuser' gets no votes other than his own for the lies he has passed out.

Father God, I pray for this nation. It needs leadership that has its heart and mind on You. I pray the elections will bring forth those who You want to be in office as only you God know what the future holds and knows the hearts and minds of men. I pray that Your children will not suffer at the hands of an enemy, that You will protect us from the evil one and continue to meet our needs each day. Thank you Father, in Jesus name. Amen.
 
Amen! Pete! I agree with your post and I also pray for our nation and it's citizens! May our Lord have mercy on us that a miracle will be done today in answer to our prayers! :angel:

Should be no more election ads now!!!!!!!!
of course the Christmas ads will be taking there place.
Wonder what is the new toy craze will be this season?

Welcome Gordy and thanks for your humorus post.....never thought of it that way, but you are right, as they already have Christmas ads on already.....and it wasn't even Halloween, let alone Thanksgiving! Sure be glad when the election mess is over with and also the Christmas ads in the mail and on TV, but I don't think they could be any worse than what the election ads have been......mailbox stuffed, doorbell rings with someone with a handful of literature, the phone rang every 30 minutes or less it seemed, and constant badmouthing each other on literature and TV! SO PRAISE GOD THE ELECTION IS OVER AND I'LL SAY AMEN TO THAT! :biggrin:
