looks like you'll have to just get one to know how it does.....but isn't everyone's experience unique regardless....
Welllll, maybe so!-----Appears the cats got everybodys tongue (except your cat). 
------I've been the "guinea pig" on SO MANY first out/newly released units over the years---thought it would be kinda cool to hear from somebody else doing it for a change.
-------A field test will be forthcoming at some point I'm sure but there's nothing like hearing from the troops that are in the trenches---that's where the real "meat" is.

steak or 'hamburger helper'? you never know.....if you need/want a GBP (S-rod) the F19 upgrade is the way to go......I really like my G2 (paid for with clad/jewelry finds several times over) as I just don't like the S rods and it's so simple to just turn on and go....note that I'm not a relic/oldie hunter with my G2.....that's nigh on impossible any more in my area......5-6 inches max works just fine for this md'er .....
