...I just seen it for the 1st time yesterday in years....Its about a nerdy kid that buys a '57Plymouth Savoy;I think it is-RED/WHITE-gorgeous CAR!!!-Anyway,the story is that the car has a mind of its own;and it hunts down all the people that bullied him in high school;then the nerd ends up gettin terminated by his own car in the end...There is one scene that has stood out in my mind since I seen it about a hundred years ago for the first time;where the car is chasing the last bully down the street at night- the car is ON FIRE after destroying a gas station one of the bullies was at...STILL makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.....

Sorry, Steve and Lorraine, but I don't watch those kinds of movies....they would give me nightmares for sure! I don't like Steven King's books or movies but my oldest daughter has all of them by him I think! Not me....I wouldn't want them even in my house! But to each his or her own...not all can enjoy the same things in life! Takes a variety for the world to go around!

God Bless!

eyes of the dragon.....its not scarey or gory that i can remember..its been awhile,....but it is a medievil story of a king and a prince and the kings advisor....its a good one. ya i used to own that movie Christine it was one of my favs back when i was younger. when i becamed saved i hated to get rid of stephen king but i knew i shouldnt be putting all that in my mind so i found a christian author with the same kind of suspense....i think his name is Frank Peritti. SP? he is just as good but with christian based stories. a good one from him is This Present Darkness and The Oath. great stories. if you like stephen king you will love this guy.

Yes, dobbie and Lorraine, the books written by Frank Peretti are very good and hard to put down after you start reading the story!

Hope you drop by again!

God bless!

Welcome again, coinhog! Glad to see you posting! :) God Bless!

What are Christians doing reading S.King books and movies??????
Nothing to do with "But to each his or her own"
Does it bring glory to God in any shape of form???
Or does it glorify or publicize Satanic powers???

You should be filling your thoughts with light... not evil.

Look at this... http://www.godtube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=152b5103d741aca61093

seems they disturb my spirit...didn't 'edify' the spirit so felt it best to give it up. Ya know speakinf of not edifying my spirit, I have had all I can stand of TV as well with all the trash programs and the trash commercials, both Sherry and I decided to uplug the tube. We're getting rid of the satellite (direct tv). Here is the best part....the money we were wasting on the trash...and we didn't even watch enough to justify paying what we were paying...we will take that amount that we were paying for satellite and give it to our church!!!

God wins in many ways that way. We can still toss in a DVD or a VHS tape of our chosing when we feel like it but no more monthly bill to pay for trash and God gets more out of it that way too. Glory to God.

God bless ya.

He didnt offend me either.
Hes brought up a good topic for discussion.

I stand by my post.
Could you tell me how you can read Stephen King books when the light of Christ is within you?
Does not your spirit get troubled by it?

Im not judging anybody... and Im not saying that "I'm holier than thou"
I make mistakes, swear when Im angry and in all honesty enjoy being in the world so to speak.
But God always brings me back to my sences and I confess my wrong doings.
Sin is enjoyable..... but God knows it will hurt us in the end!

Ive seen what evil can do, Ive heard it and also seen what God can do.
He detests it... in every shape or form.

I tell you from my heart.... no Christian should have anything to do with such writings.
The light of God lives within you... and it hates this stuff.

In the name of "Jesus... We have The Victory & and demons will have to flee.

if you would read one before you speak of it
you would know the good guy always wins evil is defeated
banishing a book from yourself because its got a satanic storyline
is absurd, I wouldn't pass up the bible and it mentions satan far more
than any SK book

Steve, you and Lorraine did not offend me and I'm sorry if my post offended either of you!

I have read one when I was at school-... cant remember which one though.

This is a Christian forum.... and I said in a few posts Im not judging anybody.
I wrote what was on my heart at the time and know it has challenged a few.
Is being a Christian about where everything is hunky dory and life is a barrel of laughs?
Or is it about being challenged and made to feel a little uncomfortable?
I stand by my post that a child of God should not be reading such books.
There is to much pussy footing going on in Christianity today.
Jesus comanded us to "GO" not to sit on our comfy chairs watching TV and reading books that glorify and facinate people with the power of evil.

This is a real challenging message
