anybody use a Miccus Mini-jack TX?

Is there anybody with experience with the Miccus device linked below? It appears to have from either a .25- to 1-second delay according to some comments on Amazon, etc. I don't think a .25-second delay would impede using it effectively with a metal detector but 1 second would be way too long.

Any comments? Thanks.

.25 delay on an average 4ft swing@ 2 seconds, will be around 6" of travel. that would the best you could hope to achieve.
1 second delay would be 2 foot. I have no experience with your device but have a BT device with .3sec delay and it can be annoying.
I only use it for streaming audio.

Look at Rapoo. I have a set of the wireless 2.4ghz (not BlueTooth). They work very well with no noticeable delay. However the audio quality is not optimal with many detectors.
A lot cheaper than the TDK WR700 that I also have and don't care for. However they have better audio and no noticeable delay.

Thanks for the info. I saw one on eBay for a decent price and I have been looking for a cheap wireless headphone option. The cord isn't the end of the world, but it would be nicer to not have to deal with it.
