Any good? Pros/Cons? Any information would be appreciated. Or would I better off with the F75 for park/school hunting? Or would an F5 be better? I'd like to get a penny/dime at 8" if possible.

You can read my posts, and Zeekeys too. I think theres a few others that swing the F70. You can get a dime at 8" if the conditions and set up are right, but most of your finds will be 6" and up for targets of the coinage specie...I of course love mine, 4AA batteries last along time, its light and fast, it will be two years April since I got it, and its been with me all over the country ever since.
Make sure you get the 11"dd and get a 5"dd too if you have the money, If this is your first detector, (as it was for me) you will be more than satisfied. I cant think of a "con" with the three you mentioned.
I use mine for Park and School hunting and some wading, and by cracky, it can definitely hold its own there and then some! Heres a picture of a ring and a necklace I found 3 months after I got it...mind you, I didn't know what I was doing, the necklace was on the beach, and the ring was at a park, same day, sold the necklace for 800 bucks and that was when gold was 1230.00
Hang out here a little and read the posts, you will figure out which one will suit you, but dont dink around too long, any of your choices will find you some loot, you just gotta get one and get outside! Theres no gold laying around in the living room!

I usually use a different detector for coin shooting because I think the VID of another detector is better.

Youve heard me say this before. I use a 75 ltd now, but still have the F70 as a backup machine, I really found a lot of good stuff and old coins with it. It is a very respectable machine, CO

the f70 is a very good md its light well balanced unreal battery life and not to hard to learn if your just starting the only downside is its not a real deep unit like mud said 6 to 7 inches is about max depth on small coins. ive had mine for 1 year ive gotten 7 gold rings 8 silver rings and quite a few silver coins hh

I think this model fell into a crowded price point. The experienced detectorists often buy a different model something maybe used one year. And since there is not a lot of info written about it on these forums or even Youtube videos, it was not purchased much by newbies? Its a real sleeper though, something you can grow into. Its a joy on the beach, and you can get some pretty deep coins there, in a dang hurry! You can practically swing it like a weed whip, and since its so light, you can cover a 12' swath at one hell of a clip just by holding furthur back by the battery box. In the dirt, if theres a lot of junk around running hot for the deep signals makes it pretty chattery, now, I've noticed running low sens and the neg thresh make it one outstanding quick broom, seems if you swing the coil a little higher than normal, lots of the trash signals evaporate and you can still hear the coin targets in the 3" depth range.
If Zeek is up and reading, he would be a better person to chime in since he has several units the F70 being one...EZ, nice gold! pretty awesome finds for just one year of swingtime!

thanks mud ill have to dig all my rings out and count them i think i might have more than 8 silvers. found a 1898 barber dime yesterday and a 1867 seated half dime a while back will post some pics of all my good stuff ive found recently soon . back to the f70 you can get better depth by running all metal mode but it wont id deep targets accurately or by running the sense all the way up but it can get real noisy in some places 74 seems to be the magic number for me it runs a little noisy but gets good depth i live in a small town and all the good spots are getting cleaned out so i have been slowing down and covering areas with different settings trying to get deeper and it has been paying off a little. another nice day here time to get a little swinging inn before the superbowl happy trails
