Anyone detected the sands of the Mississippi Coast?

I am going to the Mississippi Coast next week. Wondering if it was worth carrying my detectors.
 
never hunted down there, but i would definetly carry them. it would be better to have them then wish you had of brought them. have a good time. dave d.
 
Biloxi and Gulfport have a lot of tourists. By all means take your detector. Pascagoula has some great places to detect also. HH :minelab:
 
I'm about hour for Mississippi and have hit the beach a few times but no luck on the gold finding side.But that doesn't mean its not there.Best time to go is the day after ther fourth of July. .
