I have found a couple of British hammered coins that show up as a solid "9" with tin foil showing in the Coin & Jewelery
mode. These coins are very thin silver coins from the medieval period.

Great to see what numbers you are getting on the gold and rings.

rjm I am afraid the only way I'll get hammered is if I stop at the Pub on the way home.:beers:...Z

I should have known that!! I always loved movies with Paul Newman, Its been quite a while since I saw Cool Hand Luke. In 1991 he stopped at our church car-wash, we both drove the same cars Eagle Talon. I made small talk and he didn't really want to attract attention, so I didn't let anyone know it was him.
The only ones who knew it was Mr. Newman were God, myself, my wife and Mr. Newman. He gave us a $50 dollar bill, shook our hands and went back to Conn. Our car-wash was at a Burger King parking lot in Holyoke, Ma. I told the others at the car-wash after he left, they were having trouble believing me, after I showed them the 50 they were a little more convinced. Now that was one of those unforgettable moments. He told me that he raced Eagle Talons and other cars at Lime Rock racetrack. He sure enough did !! Thanks, dont know nutin for helping to bring back that memory.
