this is????????????? It was found at an old early 1900s log church site. Didn't get to detect very long, it was late evening when I started and got dark too quick. I'm going back though. The site has good possibilities. Gave it a quick scan with the Ace and got all kinds of good hits but didn't have enough time to dig. Gonna take the GTI 2500 when I go back.

It looks like an old chissel that was used to split logs and tree stumps to me, but I could be wrong.......as I've been wrong before, I think! :rofl:

It's a chissel.. I have one just like it in my garage....but not rusted out.

I'm quite sure this is what it is, but I could also be wrong..

Its a wood chisel. Greenlee was one of the more famous makers and in good cond. they bring a premium price. I would clean it to see if there were any markings. You can research on Ebay completed items to see what makers bring premium prices. You will be suprised what some of these bring.
