Anyone here know orange trees ?

Jim West Pa

New member
I have an orange tree that grows in a pot.
My grambaby Liyah planted it 3 years ago.
I bring it into the house in late fall and for 2 winters now it has done well.
This winter however it is droppin leaves.( somethin it never did before)
Is this normal ? Do citrus trees normaly drop thier leaves for the winter ?
Or is this a sign that possibly her tree is a bit dry this year ?

All trees that have leaves will eventually loose them, orange trees loose the oldest ones while new ones are growing. If your soil was to dry or to wet, your tree will loose all of it's leaves. Orange trees do not like wet feet, they get a fungus rot on them and then die. It is better that they are on the dry side. Also orange trees like a fertilizer that is rich in iron.
