Anyone here using SD or GP machines?

I was talking to a friend today who uses an SD2200 and claims it is not bothered by mineralized ground, at all and even in bad ground goes very deep. I know it has minimal discrimination but I only block out nails anyhow and dig everything else when relic hunting. These are gold machines but why wouldnt they be good fro relics, especially in some of the red clay mineralized soil we have here in parts of Virginia.

Any one here have any experience with these detectors. I also see they are very expensive but if they are as good as my friend says they are I thinkj they would be worth it.

My use would be relics in fields and woods. My Explorer would be used in other places.

Your friend is right but not to many people can afford them they are spendy...I have a 3500 best machine for everything..better get a big shovel..your going to dig biggg holes...

Yes the weight is a problem for me also. My EXII with pinpointer is on the local market right now , its killing my back and elbows
