IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO OPEN UP A SOVEREIGN XS 2 PRO CONTROL BOX COULD YOU LET ME KNOW?
I NEED TO FIND OUT WHY MY PHONE JACK IS NOT WORKING.
SPEAKER IS OK
THANKS
MUCH APPRECIATED

If I remember correctly, you have to take off the front knobs, the nuts, then the guts and front plate slide out the front. Its been about 15 years since I was a ML dealer, so memory isnt the clearest!

does the seal need to come off? it seems to open a bit but no further.
thanks

Thanks to all
the front plastic part was stuck on one side due to the thickness of the plastic.

It's probably a bit late...but this is how I opened up my Musketeer XS control box. Disconnect the coil from the control box first. Remove the 2 screws on either side of the coil connector located at the rear of the control box. Gently push on the coil connector with your thumb. Make sure you push in the center and not to one side. Should pop out. Carefully unplug the power cord(red & black wires) to gain access to the headphone jack. This should slide out.

I have the same problem with headphone socket on detector.

How do you gain access in the end, back screws or front knobs ?

thanks

ok, figured it out.

2 screws on coil connector and push.

The whole lot comes out, faceplate was gritted up a lot so it was stuck in place.
