I bought this unit at ayard sale for 20 bucks. Seems to work fine but haven't got in the dirt with it. Are there any Quirks or tips that would be helpful ? It came with the manual also. Any tips would be great, Thanks

VLF/TR Discriminator.

Keep the TR Disc Level as low as possible... maintain hummmmm, keep the coil just off the ground... good luck.

Not Obsolete, but time to upgrade.
