Could be a great place to metal detect. I heard about it
early this morning on NPR Radio.

Anyone ever been there?

HUmmmm. Appears many of these dried up lake beds are off limits.
Dang government takes the fun out of everything!!!!
 
It ain't like it's a cemetary...it is only an old 1950's town. For some reason, Texas and the COE department, over protects detecting in these mud holes we call lakes. Maybe Hoffa is down there, and somebody knows it ;-) martin
