Anyone receive their Deepseeker package yet?

Just wondering when they will start shipping? Garrett has said January but thats about over....... I ordered one in November and cant wait to start playing.

Me too. Mine has been paid for for over a month. Called Garrett a week a go and they still said end of January.

Hopefully Garrett with get them out soon. We are having trouble even getting the regular Garrett ATX in stock. We only have 1 left. I cant wait to try out the 8" coil on it!

Here's the update that I am aware of Gordo. Garrett apparently released 6 packages early last week. They were all accounted for and went in order of dealers orders. There is a rumored word that an additional 20 kits going out by month end. Hopefully yours and mine are in that next run.

Well I finally got mine last week, unfortunately the big coil arrived broken. Hope thats not a problem others are having. The shaft was snapped right at the pivot point. But the standard coil and detector are working great!

Do you mind taking a picture? That really stinks. Its not like it did not have enough packaging with the hard case. I find my big mono sort of fits awkwardly in the case and i have to slide the arm cuff all the way forward in storage so that it does not interfere with the deepseeker when i close the lid.

No apparent damage to the shipping box so I don't know how this happened. Hats of to Garrett though for getting a replacement shipped out ASAP. Production woes not withstanding their customer service has been good to me.

Glad to hear Garretts warranty is top notch, does not look like your deepseeker was holding on by much to begin with. Its a pretty good unit once you try it with the big mono. I have to buy a big power drill bit so i can sink some brass in prarie soil to see how deep it goes, but i am pretty sure i have been picking up natural gas pipelines with the deepseeker and they are 6ft + in my area. Did they let you keep the damaged coil? If so how much do you want for it?
