Anyone run their SEF coil on the beach?

I was testing my 15 x 12 SEF in the wet / dry sand and in shallow water yesterday. I had a tough time getting above sensitivity of 15 in the water and 20 in wet sand. I did manage 98 cents in mostly deep (10 to 14 inches) clad with one that was to deep for me to recover because the hole kept caving in.

Have you had the sensivity issues I mentioned?

Why's settings are you using?

Thanks!

just the same setting even I didn't touch the machine. It goes deep but forget about gold or silver chains o small earings, but with coins no problem!!
