I was reading stuff in the Fisher forum and someone asked this.My best guess is digital pulse the a stands for something.I figured if anyone could answer this it would be in this forum.
 
I don't think it has anything to do with PI.
The letters are taken out of context.
It's something like Digital "Phase".
The only pulse availble from Fisher M-Scope is the Impulse.

"Digital Phase Analysis" is correct. It refers to their Coinstrike detector. Probably uses a microcontroller to analyse the signal phase.
