Anyone tried using ferrite shields with a P.I.?

These are supposed to cut down on interference--do they work? I notice that sometimes my Aqua gets noisy untill I loop the cable through my belt--wondering if one of these would bring up the shielding on the cable.

More like local RF energy. If the shield were bad the performance of the detector would be greatly degraded.

You shouldn't have your coil cable flopping around. It needs to be run straight up the rod, continuing to the back end of the rod to exit.
