If so. I just recieved a new 10x12 and just tested it. I'm curious if you use one. Do you find that the sens setting makes a minimal difference. Between 50and 99 in terms of airtesting depth. Also in cl when the sens is turned down I as I'm rotating sens down a feedback squeel as I get near 36sens. Wondering if it's a normal charestic. Of this coil. Thank you for looking. Ps doesn't happen with 11in biaxial coil. HH. C t

Unkown to me a new source of interference has caused my initial test to go astray. A neighbor just started using an arc welder in his shop is attached to the back of mine facing the next block. Well thismorning I did a side by side test in the old root cellar out back. No emi with the stock 11in and no emi with the 12x10sef settings I used for first test je sens 75 2f. Disc 4 both coils quiet just at the edge of slight click or pop in boost in je the 11in on a Nicole clad modern 12ins good 14ins still gives tone meter jumpy. Switched to boost same sense disc etc.11in coil stock 12ins strong good reading on VDI. 14ins still good tone meter jumpy. OK swapped coils sef in je same sens disc etc,15ins on Nicole good strong sig VDI good. Here's where it's amazing in boost at 22ins tone still good VDI jumpy now on the other items large coppers gold rings silver quarter half and dollar. Silver rinqs. All showed between 2.5ins in je improvement in depth in airtesting in boost process 2.5-almost 4ins in airtesting depth increase now as you would expect I did try CL but I won't give my test results here I don't want to be known as being full of s#*! And as you would expect a bigger coil coil could very well mean more depth as well as coverage in this case the sef 12x10 does just that now these are airtesting results I can't get to my test bed due to knee surgery I'm homebound for a while also -8 out there right now and a 24in snow pack in the yard just wanted to update my initial test was flawed by welder interference. Thank you for looking HH 2014to all. C t
