Used the Little Eagle today, nice but, a little small. Above all keep them sharp. The Mauler didn't need any extra bracing.

As for which is better well, I feel a wider shovel makes for a FAST EASY plug, which is important to city park hunting. And most will drape a towel
over the entire digger, hence the shorter shovel is better.
But, like V.B. Mike, with his Shark hunting farm fields and forest is much less pressure.
