Anyone using the Dirt Strength Fe3O4 Bargraph readings to "follow the black sand"

No-but want to do so.The placer gold in my area is very tiny-if one was able to find streaks of Black sand the gold is in the same area. The more concentrated areas of black sand better concetrations of gold.

I will post my results using the meter when the river comes down abit more.

The Gold Bug Pro has both bargraph and phase readings. In my mind there is
a reason for this while out metal detecting for placer gold.

Those out dry washing and dredging seek out concentrations of black sand to work
for gold ... So why not use the bargraph readings to seek out concentrations of black
sand to nugget hunt?

You will have better chances whien the river goes down. Just watch the bars on the "dirt strength
meter" and if you hit a narrower area where more bars are show you could be over a crevice containing more black sands. Keep in mind you need to be in a metralliferous mining district where
gold is known to be associated with blank sand or iron oxides...
