Anyone using the LG35 coil

I'm thinking about one for the beach, p'cola beach to be specific which is sugar sand and stuff sinks very fast and deep. I live about 30 mins north of the beach but father time has won for the most part.
But wonder if the extra size is enough to be worth the cost. It's a shame the cz20 coils are hard wired,, mine has the 8" coil. Owned it since 1993-94. Man they made them good back then,,Wayne

I have one. Just got back from the beach with two rings - one silver and one gold, plus a lot of clad. It is a pretty good coil for detecting in the salt water. Stable and covers more ground than the stock coil.
