Read the section "Engineering Considerations" as it explains how the Minelab ground rejects using MPP technology. They say that they use alternate long and short pulses. Metal targets provide an identical signal for either a long or a short pulse. Iron oxide however acts differently. The response from iron oxide is shorter for the short pulse after a long pulse than the long pulse response. Those of you who have read Bruce Candy's patent will agree that this explanation is far easier to understand, Dave. * * *
