I have the EXII and love it but always wanting to learn about the lastest and greatest. I could give mine to the wife and buy me a new one...lol Any info would be appreciated.

As far as I know Minelab isn't coming out with the Explorer III anytime too soon. Get yourself another EXII and give your old one to your wife like you suggested and teach her how to use it.........
Getting your wife involved in metal detecting will keep her off of your back and she won't be bugging you about doing too much detecting because she will be with you......... HH.
